Too loud to have any hope of relaxing. It's a loud grinding noise. Also, a gutless wonder. And, the little nubs sticking out higher up make a very tight fit which causes irritation. I can't believe I threw away money on this poorly designed piece of ... I'll never buy another Sutera product again.
